We wish we could have met our hostess or even have her follow-up with us, but she we didn’t get a chance to meet with her. However, the email and directions to her place were quite clear and we were able to find her place with no major problems. Her friend helped us up to the B&B when we went to the shop. The internet access was excellent – there are complaints from other guests that it didn’t work for them – please take note that the first letter of the password is not a Capital ‘S’ or whatever it was, vice versa. We noticed that error when it was written down because there is a correct one written on her router. Anyway, the place was shared by 2 other rooms and they were filled with guests, but there was no problems in sharing the washroom. The kitchen was a bit confusing in the B&B so we never really used it, but we ate our breakfast next morning at the nearby bar, which was also a bit confusing. We didn’t know what we could order or what our breakfast entailed, but we managed to get a cappuccino, orange juice, croissant, and this pizza thing. (for two people). Since we had to drop our keys at the bar, we took our luggage out with us. So it was a bit awkward to eat breakfast with our luggages beside us, but we were on our way after that. So it was an easy check out.

Benilde was a great host and offers a great value for anyone looking to stay in the Civitavecchia area; we were in town overnight before a cruise and it was perfect (being very close to the port). The apartment is very nice, and coffee was made available, as well as an Italian breakfast at a nearby cafe.
