We needed a stopover location after landing on the Barcelona-Civitavecchia ferry. Benilde’s place was minutes walk from the port transportation drop off. We thought we’d be late arriving and great instructions were provided. We arrived on time(!) and Benilde greeted us personally. She showed us all the ins and outs and where the best eats could be found. Felt very welcome. Her place is simple yet our room was tastefully decorated and warmly welcoming. In the morning a short walk had us in the train station bound for Rome.
